Fire Prevention

This course covers key aspects of fire safety and prevention in the workplace. It'll cover statistics relating to fire injuries and deaths, and examine a case study. You'll learn about the factors necessary for fire to start and spread and a look at Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans and the various types of Evacuation procedures. There's practical advice on the handling and storage of flammable liquids and materials and it also looks at electrical fires. Finally, the course will cover why good housekeeping techniques are essential for fire safety.
